I meant to email best wishes and congratulations–on having met the life mate chosen for you–after I received your last Asia update, but I’m a slime: I left the computer and became involved in other things. SO–best wishes and congratulations. I know the wedding will be wonderful and the marriage even better. I also know that both of you will be sad to leave your respective fields for a year in the states, but Father will work everything out. To paraphrase on of my favorite authors: it is the best of times; it is the worst of times. All the best to you and Jerry!

As I read some of the story of how you guys met, i remember being with Jerry as the whole thing was developing. Oh, do I have stories for you. haha I will hopefully be in attendance this summer and am greatly looking forward to finally meeting this “Sarah” that I keep hearing about. I swear, if you don’t show up with a halo and wings I might be a little disappointed. Take care of my buddies while they’re visiting you, I miss them greatly.

Jerry!!!!!! Hey dude. I saw the link for this site on facebook and we just had to check it out. A common family activity for Emily and I is to look at each other’s facebook pages together. What an amazing story. We loved reading it. Emily liked the part about the bench the best. I liked the part about you getting cut off on skype the best because I enjoy it when others experience my tech misery. Thanks for taking time to write the story. It was encouraging for us. Sarah is obviously incredible. Can’t wait to meet her and hang with you all….if that ever happens. So, are you going to live in Asia or what? Come on out to CA and see us. Oh, and by the way, though we’re not in the circle of closeness to be invited to the wedding, after reading that incredible story, we want to come anyway. (I’m obviously just kidding.) Peace.

I’m still floored that little Sarah from our drama group at FBC/Orlando is all grown up and now contemplating wedding bells with a guy that sounds too wonderful for words.
My joy is knowing that you’ve started the race that Paul speaks of with such passion in the N.T. Finishing well is always the goal and I’ll be there to cheer for you both as you sprint over the line.

I loved reading your story. While the distance has been/is hard…it is something you will always be grateful for (we know! :)) Wish we could make it to the wedding, but I’ll probably be as big as a house by that time preparing for our little one’s birth.
